The UFC is back at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas for Saturday’s event, UFC Vegas 92. In the main event of that card, veteran competitor Edson Barboza faces Lerone Murphy in a featherweight scrap. Barboza, enters the contest as the No. 12 ranked fighter in the official UFC 145-pound rankings, while Murphy is outside the top 15 in the division.

Barboza (24-11) has had highs and lows as a member of the UFC roster. The 38-year-old is currently on an upswing. In 2023, he went 2-0, picking up fight-night bonuses in his two outings. He is coming off a “Fight of the Night” decision win over Sodiq Yusuff in October.

Murphy (13-0-1) is unbeaten in six UFC bouts. The 32-year-old fought twice in 2023 after missing all of 2022. Murphy is coming off a July 2023 unanimous decision win over Joshua Culibao.

UFC Vegas 92 streams on ESPN+ on Saturday, May 18.
