Fans got their first glimpse at Drake Maye and other Patriots rookies in full uniform at the NFLPA’s Rookie Premiere event on Saturday.

Many of the top stars in the NFL’s 2024 draft class appeared in Los Angeles as part of the NFLPA’s annual event. Among the Patriots in attendance were Maye, fellow rookie quarterback Joe Milton III, and wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk.

Maye could be seen taking light reps throwing in his new threads, enough to drum up even more excitement for his arrival in New England. The action wasn’t restricted to football, though. The young signal-caller also took a rep on the putting green set up close by.

Meanwhile, Milton came to the event donning a chain with a rocket on it. The Tennessee product is known for his impressive arm strength, and the necklace is likely a reference to that.

Milton and Maye make up a QB room that also includes veteran Jacoby Brissett, the presumed favorite to start Week 1 for the Patriots. Brissett noted that everybody on New England’s depth chart ‘wants to be the guy’ taking snaps on game days.

Maye, Milton, and Polk all participated in the Patriots’ rookie minicamp earlier in May. OTAs begin next week and continue through the beginning of June before mandatory minicamp starts on June 11.
