Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce had no love for his former rival New York Knicks after they lost to the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Sunday.

Pierce took to social media to share a video of himself stomping on a Jalen Brunson jersey after the season-ending loss.

Yall Knick fans are delusional stfu and get over it ya season is over deal wit it .Good yr tho

One might wonder if Pierce bought the Brunson jersey just to make the video he posted Sunday, but there is a little more of a backstory.

A few weeks ago, Pierce made a bet with Knicks fans that if New York made it out of the first round, he would purchase and wear a Brunson jersey. After the Knicks beat the Philadelphia 76ers in Round 1, Pierce held up his end of the bargain.

Brunson played great in the conference semifinals, averaging 29.7 points per game in the series, but a fractured hand kept him out for much of the second half of Game 7 as the Knicks came up short.

While Brunson proved he's on his way to being a superstar in the playoffs this year, he couldn't make a fan out of Pierce, who spent 15 years playing in Boston.

After rooting against the Knicks in the conference semifinals, Pierce will now pull against the Pacers as they take on the Celtics. While Boston has reached the conference finals in the last three seasons, Indiana will be playing in its first since 2014 and will be looking for its first NBA Finals appearance since 2000.
