Ben Affleck was notably absent from Monday’s red carpet premiere of Jennifer Lopez’s new Netflix film, “Atlas,” amid reports the stars are living apart nearly two months into their marriage.
The Bronx native, 54, may not have had her man, 51, on her arm, but she did have her wedding ring on during the premiere for the sci-fi flick, out Friday, reports Entertainment Tonight.
“One thing you can always trust in [is] family,” Lopez told the outlet, as she hung out with co-stars Sterling K. Brown and Simu Liu during the event.
During her appearance Monday on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Lopez also nodded to her first engagement to Affleck in the early 2000s.
Lopez recalled her idol, Barbra Streisand, asking to look at the first engagement ring Ben had give to her and remarked, “So that’s a big diamond.”
The couple was photographed this Sunday as they attended an event in Santa Monica for Lopez’s daughter, Emme. Garner, 52, also attended along with her and Affleck’s child Fin.
Affleck and Lopez then went to dinner at celebrity hotspot BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood.
Sunday’s appearances were only the second time the troubled pair had been spotted together since March. They were also snapped Thursday, both sporting their rings.
On Friday evening, Affleck appeared without his ring, according to snaps published by TMZ, but he was seen wearing it the following day. The outlet has also reported that the “Good Will Hunting” scribe has moved out of his and Lopez’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, and staying at a home in Brentwood instead.
Over the weekend, sources told the Daily News that Lopez — who’s faced disappointing ticket sales for next month’s “This Is Me…Now” tour, following the release of the Affleck-centric album earlier this year — needs “serious emotional support” at the moment.
“Affleck is not built for that,” said an insider.
The News was also told that Lopez suggested the pair move their lives to New York, hoping a change of scenery “would be helpful,” though such a move would be hard, as both have teenage kids in school.
