"The spring always brings a welcome feeling of optimism," Nadine Abramcyk, cofounder of Tenoverten, says. Each year, we're served a ton of fresh inspiration from New York Fashion Week and some of our favorite nail experts on social media, both of which have a role in the spring nail designs that pique our interest when the warmer temperatures roll around. As a result, the most popular spring nail-art ideas are not the basic single-color manicures of your youth. Instead they're equal parts chic and edgy.

The latest trending styles include everything from denim-inspired colorways to the classic french manicure and everything in between. No matter what you're looking for, there's an adorable spring nail design option out there for you. Blueberry-Milk Nail Art

Looking for a manicure trend so delicious you'll want to take a bite? You're looking for blueberry-milk nails. "The trend is the newest addition to the milk-bath nail series that has been gaining popularity since the start of spring this year," Queenie Nguyen, editorial nail artist, says. They're characterized by a creamy base with a soft blue hue. Celebrities like Sofia Richie and Zendaya are fans. However, if you want to step things up a notch, add in some blueberry nail art.

Fluffy Nails

Fluffy nails have been all over TikTok as of late, and they're a nail trend you need to see to believe. Fluffy nails are a type of design using flocking powder to create a fluffy 3D texture," nail educator Priscilla Nguyen says. "It's like the sweater nails look but using a different texture." You can copy for fluffy nails on every finger or do an accent nail like the example above.

Denim Nails

If you're a maximalist in search of some new nail art inspiration, we'd suggest taking denim nails for a spin. "Denim nails are a trendy nail design that mimics the look and texture of denim fabric," Rianna Basurto of Bellacures says. "They can range from deep indigo shades to soft acid-wash blues, often with subtle distressing, fading, or even stitch-like details to resemble real jeans."

Multicolor French Manicure

French manicures aren't going anywhere. The spring months will find them refreshed with a new wave of color. "Multicolor French manicures will be popular because it's a great way to add a playful spin on a classic trend," says Mazz Hanna, CEO of Nailing Hollywood.

Jelly Nails

Jelly nails feel like a blast from the past, but the 2025 version is anything but. "Jelly nails capture a light and refreshing feeling that is perfect for the spring," Hanna says. "Whether you want a subtle touch with a delicate pink [color] or you're ready to make a bold statement with vibrant blues, greens, or purples, they offer endless possibilities."

Barely There Nails

While we love a good maximalist beauty look β€” especially when it comes to our manicures β€” we've been seeing celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Lana Condor pull back when it comes to their nail-art designs. "Barely there nails, or naked nails, are trending everywhere right now," Nadine Abramcyk, founder of Tenoverten says. A fun way to test out the trend is doing minimal nail art, like a micro French manicure.
