WALNUT CREEK — Gary Peterson, a former Contra Costa Times sports reporter and columnist, will sign copies of his new book “Battle of the Bay” from 1 to 3 p.m. April 14 at Rocco’s Pizzeria & Ristorante, 2909 Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek.
The book is a look back at the 1989 baseball season, culminating in the A’s-Giants Bay Bridge World Series.
Peterson is now the Times’ courts reporter.
Copies of the book will be available for $18.39 (tax included), cash or check.
