An Orange County high school weightlifting coach has been arrested on drug charges after a school resource officer received a tip that he was selling performance-enhancing drugs to students.The investigation into Colonial High School physical education teacher and coach Sean Grove, 55, was launched after a tip was received that he was selling performance-enhancing drugs, Viagra and Cialis to students, an arrest report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said. The resource officer conducting the investigation asked for and was granted permission to search Grove’s car. The search turned up two vials of a drug that Grove did not have a prescription for. He is charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance. The vials found contained steroids and Grove admitted to using them in the past for body building competitions, the report said. Orange County school officials said Grove, who has been with the district since 1997, is on paid administrative leave.
