Man confesses to murders at Kissimmee motel, deputies say
Two people were found dead Wednesday at a motel in Kissimmee, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities said the bodies were found at the Roomba Inn & Suites at Old Town at West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.
Deputies said emergency responders received a 911 call, believed to be from a housekeeper, Wednesday morning.
Deputies responded and found Jerry Thompson Jr. and Ginger Lynn Freebold dead a room under suspicious circumstances.
Authorities were able to track down an individual who they said implicated himself in Thompson’s and Freebold’s deaths. Deputies said Damon Session told them he was doing drugs with the victims when an argument broke out.
Sessions had information about the crime scene that no one else would have, according to deputies. He allegedly told deputies he shot both victims with a firearm.
Deputies said Sessions knew both victims through a friend. He has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.
