Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian and more hit the 2019 amfAR gala in NYC

In the midst of chaotic fashion month, stars took a break from the front row and headed downtown to Wall Street for the 2019 amfAR Gala.

The exclusive event, known as the unofficial kickoff to New York Fashion Week, honors individuals who have made a difference in the fight of HIV/AIDS.

With a performance by The Chainsmokers featuring Kelsea Ballerini, famous faces filled the room --from Kim and Kourtney Kardashian to Heidi Klum and Candice Swanepoel.

Low-cut and cleavage baring gowns was the common thread among the stars for Wednesday night's looks. The Kardashian sisters twinned in black complementing Versace dresses, which both featured unique necklines. Heidi Klum took a roaring '20s approach with her silver fringed dress by Paolo Sebastia --leaving very little the imagination.

Alessandra Amborsio also showed off her her figure with a peek-a-boo cutout velvet gown by Lena Berish.
