While some players were busy trying to book their ticket for the main draw in the final stage of qualifying on Monday and others slowly kicked off the first round of the Qatar Total Open, a number of WTA players enjoyed the players’ party in Doha. Players’ parties can be glamorous events, but here we can see a casual get-together marking the start of the Premier-level tournament.

Caroline Wozniacki wore a black crop top with ruffled sleeves and a light floral skirt, while Angelique Kerber opted for a textured white 3/4 sleeve shirt and a subtly-printed black skirt.

Elina Svitolina rocked a smart jumpsuit, pointed-toe shoes and an elegant updo.

Carla Suarez Navarro, who won the tournament in 2016, wore a big smile and a plain white sleeveless shirt with chest pockets.

After her afternoon practice and Fila sports apparel, the 2017 Doha champion Karolina Pliskova switched to a dark green tie-waist dress.

Julia Goerges and Kiki Bertens chose simple smart casual outfits for their appearance at the players’ party.

Following her meet-up with fans, Anett Kontaveit changed into a black boat-neck dress with red accents.

The 2016 Doha doubles champions Latisha Chan and Chan Hao-ching looked romantic in their loose, elegant dresses.

Stay with us throughout this week for more information from the Qatar Total Open. On Monday only one first-round match was on schedule, in which Barbora Strycova cruised past Fatma Al Nabhani, while earlier in the day Ajla Tomljanovic, Zhu Lin, Karolina Muchova and Anna Blinkova qualified for the main draw.
