Saturday open thread: What was your favorite Glover Quin moment?

The Detroit Lions made an unfortunate, yet expected, move on Friday when they released long time safety Glover Quin. Quin had been a star since he arrived in 2013 from Houston and was a key member of a Lions secondary that had its ups and downs over the years.

Quin was always heralded for his leadership skills and his role in developing the many younger stars in the Lions secondary, but he was an incredible football player as well. The safety roamed the back line for years and was a star playing the center field role for the team.

He was a big play machine and intercepted 19 passes in his six seasons in Honolulu Blue—and made a few other plays that did not show up on the stat sheet. With that in mind:

What was your favorite Glover Quin moment as a Detroit Lion?

For me, it has to be his interception of Drew Brees in the fourth quarter of the teams 2014 match up against the New Orleans Saints. Detroit trailed six late and the Saints were only a few first downs away from putting it away. Brees dropped back to pass on a third and long in his own territory and Quin jumped his pass to Marques Colston and returned it inside the New Orleans 15-yard line.

A few plays later, Matthew Stafford found Corey Fuller for the game-winning touchdown.
