Billie Eilish is undoubtedly a boss after having taken over the music scene as quickly as she did and securing a slot at this year's Coachella.

And while some would use their downtime to relax and unwind, according to hairstylist Joseph Chase, the grind didn't stop for Eilish. While she was getting her hair styled, she "mostly worked and had meetings with her team about upcoming shows and travel schedule," he said. "She's a very busy girl."

Chase created her performance look using Redken products (he is a spokesperson for the brand). He used the Redken Shades EQ — which deposits color in just 20 minutes — to create the the smoky black hue she had for the performance. Then, he spritzed her roots with the Dry Texture Triple Dry 15 Spray ($22) to give her hair body and hold for a tousled top knot tied at the crown of her head with a black elastic. To preserve the look, Chase lightly sprayed on the Shine Flash 02 ($20) hairspray for a glossy finish and the One United Multi-Benefit Treatment Spray ($24) to keep it from frizzing.
