Kate Middleton wore this item from her wedding day to Easter services

The royal was dressed in something blue on Easter Sunday, but that wasn't the easy-to-miss piece she recycled from her wedding day.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was dressed in her Sunday best for Easter services at St. George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle, and she was also dressed in something very familiar — a special item that was part of her wedding day.

But only eagle-eyed royal watchers would have noticed.

The former Kate Middleton wore a beautiful pale blue ensemble complete with a coatdress, festive hat and clutch, all of which she teamed with a sparkling addition: the dangling diamond earrings she sported when she wed Prince William back in 2011.

The stunning accessories aren't vintage pieces from Queen Elizabeth's private collection, like the Cartier Halo tiara the Duchess of Cambridge also wore on her special day. Instead, the earrings were specially made just for the bride, featuring acorn and oak leaf shapes, from the Middleton family's coat of arms, as well as a scroll created to coordinate perfectly with the tiara.

Of course, they coordinated perfectly with her chic spring outfit, too, which also included a glittering brooch and nude heels.

Several members of the British royal family gathered at the chapel Sunday, but beyond the holiday, the family also came together to celebrate the queen herself.

Queen Elizabeth II turned 93 years old on Easter. The public and formal celebration for that occasion will be held in June at the annual Trooping the Colour.

Like the Duchess of Cambridge, the queen also wore a blue coatdress to attend the services, though hers differed in hue.

Prince Harry, who wed Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, at the same venue less than a year ago, was there, too, wearing a dark navy suit with a light blue tie. (We’re seeing an Easter Day color pattern with the royals here.) As for the former Meghan Markle, she could not attend. She’s expected to give birth to her and Prince Harry's first baby any day now.

Could all of this royal blue fashion on Easter Sunday be a sign of the new baby's gender? We'll just have to wait and see!
