If you plan to eat out at a restaurant with a big group of people, it'd be wise to figure out who’s footing the bill ahead of time so you don't get stuck with an expensive check, especially when your dinner guests include Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Pete Davidson had to learn this lesson the hard way and shared the details of his Kimye dinner story during his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Pete Davidson was invited to dinner by his friend and rapper Kid Cudi, who was celebrating a birthday. Like the good friend he is, Pete arrived to the restaurant a little early to cover the impending charges, but what he didn't expect was the stream of celebrities that would be filing into the restaurant to join Cudi's celebration. Pete and friends ordered a few items off the menu, which didn't worry the comedian because "everybody's like skinny." Then, Timothee Chalamet walks in and Kid Cudi informs Pete that Kim and Kanye might be stopping by.

"Kanye goes, 'Let's get the special room in the back,' and I was like, 'Oh no," Pete quipped. Pete then texted his agent, "'Yo, we gotta book more shows. Shit's getting real over here,'" he says. When it was Kanye's time to order, he requested "that stuff that's not even on the menu—that crazy stuff."

Pete told Jimmy that the bill wasn't as expensive as people may believe, "but it's not like it's Applebees. It's Nobu, which is like 77 Applebees's."

Earlier in February, Kim Kardashian gave her side of the story when she visited Jimmy Fallon. "It was Kid Cudi's birthday, and we went to Nobu and when I got there I realized it was, like, a guys' dinner," she told Fallon. "So I posted this and didn't even tag anyone. I got more DMs from my friends—from my gay friends, from my straight friends, everyone—asking me about Timothée [Chalamet] and Pete."

But what did Kanye West order, though????
