It's hard to believe that Kylie Jenner would ever sell her eponymous makeup brand, Kylie Cosmetics, after a few short years, yet it appears that talks may currently be underway with a major global company, according to a "well-placed source," who spoke to WWD.

Coty Inc., aka the global beauty brand that owns CoverGirl, OPI, Sally Hansen, Rimmel London, and more, is, according to the source, in discussions to buy over half of Kylie Cosmetics for — wait for it — at least a whopping $600 million. If the sale takes place, Jenner would still retain a solid chunk of ownership of her brand, 49 percent, to be exact.

The 21-year-old founder reportedly may have been in talks with various bidders in the past, according to sources who spoke to WWD in May, but she may have been holding out for the perfect match. This news comes hot on the heels of the launch of her latest project: Kylie Skin.

In May, Kris Jenner commented on interest in Kylie Cosmetics to WWD: Through a spokesperson, Jenner said that the company's success had been "incredible" and that "there will always be some interest" in it.

Allure has reached out to Coty and Kylie Cosmetics for comment and will update this story when and if we hear back.
