Samsung's next 2019 mid-range tablet leaks for the first time
Unlike Google, Samsung is far from being done with tablets. The South Korean company has at least two new devices in this category in the pipeline: a high-end slate and an entry-level one. But it looks like Samsung really wants to cover all price tiers, which is no wonder considering the low number of companies that are still producing Android tablets.

Samsung's mid-tier tablet will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and 4GB RAM, which is more than decent for such a product. The tablet with model number SM-T545, recently appeared on Geekbench, SamMobile reports, but that doesn't guarantee its existence.

The tablet will most likely ship with Android 9.0 Pie on board and the report also claims it will pack 64GB storage. Hopefully, it will include a microSD card slot for memory expansion as well. Sadly, we know nothing about the tablet's display and battery.

Now, as far as price and release go, Samsung will probably want to spread the announcements over the coming months, so it's unlikely that the company will group the mid-range tablet with the Galaxy Tab S5, the high-end slate supposedly coming alongside the Galaxy Note 10 phablet in August.

Perhaps Samsung will bring its new mid- and low-tier tablets at IFA trade fair in early September, but that's just a guess due to lack of information.
