Netanyahu: regardless of elections, if required there will be a large campaign against Gaza
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected claims by former IDF chief Gabi Ashkenazi that his inaction in face of recent escalation of events on the Gaza border is a result of pre-election calculations.
Netanyahu told reporters ahead of his flight to Kiev, “If it is required, we will embark on a large campaign (against Gaza), with considerations to the elections — with elections or without elections”.
