QUARTER 4

3:12 | Vikings 25, Seahawks 19 Give Jason Myers the game ball after this one. With J.T. Barrett leading the offense, Seattle once again stalls and is forced to call on Myers, who improves to 4 for 4 with a 20-yard try.

4:00 | Vikings 25, Seahawks 16 After a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit on Paxton Lynch, he is forced to exit the game and J.T. Barrett enters. Barrett was just signed this week with Geno Smith already sidelined. Shortly after, offensive lineman Demetrius Knox is carted off, as well.

5:10 | Vikings 25, Seahawks 16 Yardage update: 375 to 174. Minnesota’s latest drive ends again in six, but this time the Vikings tack on two instead.

11:02 | Vikings 17, Seahawks 16 It’s been announced that second-round safety Marquise Blair will not return with a back injury. He was seen being carted off the field. Stay tuned.

12:20 | Vikings 17, Seahawks 16 Paxton Lynch thought he saw an open John Ursua but all he found was a Vikings defender, who dropped an easy pick. Instead, Jason Myers comes on again and connects on his third field goal to make this is a one-point game.

QUARTER 3

2:29 | Vikings 17, Seahawks 13 The Vikings pick and poke their way down the field, and on the 11th play of the drive, Jamar Taylor is called for illegal use of hands — but it’s moot as third-string QB Kyle Sloter finds Brandon Zylstra for six. All of a sudden, Minnesota is nearly doubling Seattle’s total yards, 306-128.

9:00 | Seahawks 13, Vikings 10 Paxton Lynch remained behind center to open the second half. The Seahawks were the beneficiaries of a 37-yard pass interference penalty but can’t muster much more than that. They call on Jason Myers again and his kick sails right down the middle.

QUARTER 2

1:05 | Seahawks 10, Vikings 10 Rookie tight end Irv Smith Jr gets behind rookie safety Marquise Blair to get open in the end zone. The Vikings go 63 yards in 43 seconds, and it’s a tied game approaching halftime.

1:57 | Seahawks 10, Vikings 3 Rookie cornerback Ugo Amadi, acting as the gunner, lays the boom on this punt return.

3:35 | Seahawks 10, Vikings 3 That’s it for Russell Wilson and the first-team offense. It’s Paxton Lynch time. The 6-foot-7 QB who’s vying for the backup job was impressive in his Seahawks debut last Thursday, completing 11 of 15 passes for 109 yards and a TD, adding another score and 38 yards on the ground. We’ll see what he’s capable of against a team that didn’t cut him.

5:48 | Seahawks 10, Vikings 3 PICK 6! The Seahawks left their defensive starters in for another series while Minnesota subbed in QB Sean Mannion and the second-team offense. Rookie running back Alexander Mattison tore up the Seahawks for 23 yards on one play, but the drive ended with DeShawn Shead reading Mannion and returning his interception 88 yards to the house.

11:34 | Vikings 3, Seahawks 3 Backed into third and long after a false start, Russell Wilson finds a wide-open Jaron Brown downfield to get Seattle all the way to the Vikings’ 19-yard line. Seattle isn’t able to punch it into the end zone, though, and trades field goals with Minnesota. Jason Myers is good from 33 yards.

QUARTER 1

2:03 | Vikings 3, Seahawks 0 The Vikings drive stalls inside the red zone and they call on Dan Bailey, who is good from 24 yards.

4:59 | Seahawks 0, Vikings 0 Poona Ford blasts through the backfield for what looked to be a forced fumble, but officials rule the play dead before the ball pops loose. One play later, Adam Thielen beats Shaquill Griffin for a gain of 35.

9:18 | Seahawks 0, Vikings 0 With Seattle getting frequent pressure, the Vikings were forced into a fourth and 1 at the Seahawks’ 44. They converted, but would have no such luck three plays later, with Cassius Marsh getting into the backfield and forcing Kirk Cousins to throw incomplete on third and 14 and Minnesota opting to punt.

PREGAME

5:06 p.m. We’ll just leave this here.

4:06 p.m. Russell Wilson is expected to play tonight, but not Bobby Wagner or K.J. Wright, our Bob Condotta reports. That news comes after GM John Schneider told 710 AM that rookie receiver DK Metcalf won’t play tonight due to a sore leg. Shaquem Griffin also has a bruised knee and didn’t make the trip. Bob has more on the Seahawks who will and won’t play here.

3:34 p.m. There are nine Vikings who aren’t expected to play tonight, including former Seahawks defensive tackle Shamar Stephen. Here’s a full list:
