UPDATE (August 19, 2019): It's been nearly two weeks since Kylie Jenner announced her collection with sister Kim Kardashian's line, KKW Fragrance. The collaboration was supposed to launch in April but was pushed back because the bottles "did not pass durability tests while on the assembly line." Well, the wait is over, and KKW x KYLIE is officially dropping on August 23.
Jenner took to her Instagram Stories to share the scents she and her sister are launching. The collection features three lip-shaped bottles (very on-brand for Kylie), all with different scents, so you're almost guaranteed to find one that works for you.
First up is Nude Lips ($40).
This one is Jenner's favorite. The scent is warm amber musk and holds notes of vanilla, amber musk, and a variety of flowers such as magnolia, jasmine, and peony. The opening scent is solar spices and lily of the valley, the heart is nude magnolia, jasmine, and peony, while the finishing notes are Tahitian vanilla, vibrant amber, and musk.
Next is Pink Lips ($40)
The scent is a solar floral coconut. The opening scent is Mandarin and Italian bergamot, the heart is solar gardenia, coconut water, and exotic tiare. Finishing notes include creamy coconut, pink musk, sandalwood, and liquid amber.
And Kim's favorite is Red Lips ($40). She swears by this fragrance, which holds solar floral coconut and hues of mandarin.
Opening notes for Red Lips include blood orange and red lotus flower. The heart of the fragrance holding red gardenia, exotic land and warm ambrette. Finishing notes are vanilla bean, red cedar, and plush musks.
All three fragrances have floral notes, so if that's your type of scent these are definitely for you. Each fragrance will be sold individually for $40 or you can snag the bundle for $110. They're set to launch on August 23, 12 p.m. PST, on the KKW Fragrance website.

Nothing says "We can't wait for you to buy our fragrances," quite like flipping the bird, don't you think? It's not the most obvious marketing strategy, but that's exactly how Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have decided to tells fans that their highly anticipated KKW x Kylie fragrances are, at long last, launching in just a few weeks.
Late on Friday night, Kardashian posted a photo of herself and Jenner goofing around for the camera. Kardashian is making a kissy face and Jenner is holding up a beautifully manicured middle finger while they both clasp a couple of the lip-shaped perfume bottles we were introduced to when the sisters released the first campaign photos for their collaboration a few months ago — the very bottles that "did not pass durability tests while on the assembly line," according to a mid-April tweet from Kardashian that explained that the original April 26 launch date had been postponed. Thanks to the caption of this new post, though, we now know exactly when the collaboration will finally drop: "You thought we forgot about you??? KKW X KYLIE perfume coming August 23rd!!!!"
The photo doesn't appear to be new, but rather a phone-snapped outtake from the original campaign shoot — they're wearing the same dresses and bright eye shadow seen in the April campaign. However, even if it's not a new picture the fact that they're showing the original bottles suggests that they managed to solve any durability issues and will be releasing the fragrances in the lip-shaped packaging the universe intended.

A new post from Instagram beauty town crier Trendmood seems to confirm that, along with the specific names and notes of the three scents. Nude Lips is reportedly a vanilla amber musk fragrance in which "tone-on-tone bouquets of magnolia, jasmine, and peony are drenched with warm, solar spices and barely there lily of the valley," and, "melted Tahitian vanilla is luminized with superfine amber crystals and skin musks."
Pink Lips is what the sisters are referring to as a "solar floral coconut" with Mandarin and Italian bergamot, tiare flower, and gardenia; furthermore, "a delicious cocktail of thirst-quenching coconut is swirled into a pool of pink musks, sandalwood, and liquid amber. And finally, Red Lips is an opulent white floral with blood orange zest, red lotus blossoms, and "kissable facets" of deep red gardenia, and exotic ylang-ylang. Ambrette is combined with vanilla bean, red cedar, and musks.
As of Saturday morning, nothing has been posted about the fragrances on the KKW Fragrance Instagram page or website, but assuming there are no more postponements you'll finally be able to buy the KKW x Kylie fragrance of your choice on kkwfragrance.com on Tuesday, August 23.
