After a few weeks of dribbling out applications to excited waitlisters, Apple’s new credit card is now available to all U.S. iOS users. The card offers a digital-first experience via Apple Wallet and Apple Pay, with a sleek physical card that doesn’t even show your card number or expiration date on it. Apple Card also offers robust expense-tracking features and doesn’t charge fees beyond interest, which makes up for its ho-hum cash-back rewards.

How to apply for Apple Card

To apply for the card, open Apple Wallet on your iPhone or iPad and hit the plus sign at the top right of your screen. Press “Continue” on the screen for Apple Pay, then choose Apple Card as the type of card you’d like to add to Apple Pay.

You’ll enter your birthdate, the last four digits of your Social Security Number, and your income before getting your card offer in a matter of seconds. If you accept the offer, you can start using Apple Card right away. If you decide you don’t want the card, you can decline the offer without dinging your credit score.

When it announced its full release today, Apple also announced that its 3% cash back offer—usually reserved for Apple Card purchases on Apple products and apps—is now also available for purchases made on Uber and Uber Eats. “Apple Card will continue to add more popular merchants and apps in the coming months,” the announcement noted, making this card one to watch if you’re into maximizing your cash-back rewards but don’t anticipate taking many trips to the Apple Store.
