UPDATE (August 20, 2019): Rihanna has been teasing a new Fenty Beauty launch for a few weeks now, but the wait is officially over. The brand took to Instagram today to confirm that the latest product from the fan-favorite brand is indeed, a brow pencil called Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil Styler. But, as we know, Rihanna never does anything without putting her magic touch on it, so, what makes this brow groomer different, you may ask?

Well, for starters the brow pencil comes in 14 shades — which may not seem like a lot when it comes to Fenty, but keep in mind most brands brow shade range varies from one to 10 shades. Brow MVP's shade selection has a color for everyone. Whether you need a strawberry blonde shade, ash brown, or the deepest black — there is a shade to match every hair color.

On one side of the dual-ended pencil is the ultra-fine retractable tip (which is great because sharpeners are so overrated). And on the oppostite end is what really blew me away on the pencil. On this particular brow product is that there's a unique paddle brush, where a spoolie would typically be. This allows for effortless blending that isn't too harsh and stiff like your ordinary spoolie. And did I mention the formula is waterproof? Say goodbye to the days of getting hit with a wave at the beach and losing your brows to the elements.

Rihanna won't have us and her navy waiting much longer because they know that brows are important to so many makeup lovers — especially Rihanna. "I'm obsessed with doing my own brows because it's so personal, and there's a particular way I like them," Rihanna said in a brand statement. "I love this brow pencil because it gives you the ultimate control and makes it really easy to get any brow shape."

Brow MVP by Fenty Beauty will be available on August 23 at fentybeauty.com and Sephora for $20.

If I told you Fenty Beauty was launching a new foundation in 14 shades, you'd probably be taken aback, thinking something along the lines of, "Why hath Rihanna betrayeth us?" (assuming your inner monologue is in Old English). Well, Fenty Beauty is launching a new product in 14 shades, but because it's a brow pencil, that number is actually extraordinarily high.

We're still failing to calm down over the announcement that Fenty is launching 50 shades of Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation, a more moisturizing version of the original matte foundation, and Rihanna goes and drops another beauty bomb. According to a tweet by someone who goes by Christelle, "Rihanna surprised the Sephora Store Leasership Conference in Vegas and gave them a sneak peak of a product dropping 8/23!" The accompanying video shows Rihanna on stage in a satiny lavender suit, telling the cheering audience, "I was not going to come all the way to Vegas empty-handed. So we're gonna give you guys an exclusive sneak peek of one of the next products coming out — the very next product coming out. And it's..." And the video cuts off right there.

Thankfully, Christelle shared an additional video and photos of the screen onstage from the conference in the Twitter thread, revealing a not-entirely-clear look at "Brow pencils in 14 shades!" It seems that they'll be called the Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler, and from the looks of it the 14 shades will include hues that go way beyond the usual taupes and browns — namely, there appear to be numerous red-based shades ranging from burgundy to burnt orange.
