KOLKATA: Lt Gen Anil Chauhan, GOC-in-C, Eastern Command, gave away awards to toppers at the graduation ceremony of the Army Institute of Management (AIM), Kolkata on Saturday. This was the 20th batch to pass out from AIM, which is a NAAC accredited ISO 9001:2005 institution. The ceremony was held at the Albert Ekka Auditorium at the Eastern Command headquarters in Fort William.

“AIM is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and runs a two year full time MBA residential programme for wards of defence personnel and civilians. The Institute has consistently had a 100 percent placement record over the last five years. In the next academic year, AIM will be relocating from its present location in Alipore to its new campus at Rajarhat,” an official said.
While Saikat Samanta from West Midnapore, West Bengal, topped the course and also stood first in Marketing, Arjeous Choudhary topped the list in Finance and Abhishek Sen in HR.
