Navrachana University inaugurated a Q-Lab at its campus to celebrate the Engineers Day. The laboratory set up by the School of Engineering and Technology of the university aims to encourage innovation by faculty and students at the school.

VADODARA: Navrachana University inaugurated a Q-Lab at its campus to celebrate the Engineers Day. The laboratory set up by the School of Engineering and Technology of the university aims to encourage innovation by faculty and students at the school.
A university communique stated that the Q-Lab is a space to ideate, create and experiment. It can be used by faculty, staff and students for their hands-on projects and innovations.
Chief executive of NetWeb Software Maulik Bhanshali as the guest of honour at the inauguration while managing director of Zeppelin Systems Gaurang Joshipura was the chief guest.
A contest on ideation ‘Innovative Thinking for the Societal Needs’ and photography competition was also held for students on the day. For the faculty of the school, a contest on ‘Design Thinking’ was organised.
