You don’t need to be a tarot card pro to get your cards read. All you need: your Sun sign! Here’s what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality.

Basically, if your bank account is not ready for a full tarot reading just yet, this one should help tide you over for now!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: PAGE OF CUPS

the tarot card the page of cups, showing a young person in a tunic and tights holding out a golden goblet
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

The mood this week is one of gentle, calming, social fun. Spend time with people who soothe you and feel like easy company–this is the time to especially stay away from bad vibes, jarred nerves, or high-octane drama. The Page of Cups is a wide-eyed, childlike character, eager to explore. So look for creative pursuits to focus on. Learn a new craft. Cook a fancy ass dinner. It’s a dreamy, lovely week ahead for us all.

ARIES: TEN OF SWORDS

the tarot card the ten of swords, showing a person lying on the ground with ten swords in their back
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen
Not to fire you up, Aries, but there is someone super fake and shitty in your life right now. But once you realize who's been talking smack about you, you of all people are the quickest to cut them out. The Ten of Swords takes no prisoners, and neither should you. Get this over with, dust off your hands, and get back to your true ride-or-dies.

TAURUS: QUEEN OF COINS

the tarot card for the queen of pentacles, showing a white woman in a red dress and crown sitting on a throne, holding a giant coin emblazoned with a five sided star
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

This week, the universe is giving you permission to indulge yourself in whatever way makes you feel good (which just so happens to be your most favorite thing!) The Queen of Coins represents knowing what you want and shamelessly going after it. So get that massage, stock up on the Sephora merch, and f*ck it, order the dessert you have no room for but really, really want. You need AND deserve this pleasurefest.

GEMINI: THREE OF CUPS

the tarot card the three of cups, showing three white women in robes dancing in a circle, each holding up a golden cup
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

This is the week to be your best Gemini self–i.e., going out, filling up your Google cal with plans every night, picking a new bar to hang out in. Virgo season's been a LOT for you (don't worry, bb, Libra season's on the way!), so now's the time to let loose a lil bit! Put down the work emails and talk to your friends!

CANCER: TWO OF SWORDS

the tarot card the two of swords, showing a blindfolded person in a white robe holding two swords crossed in front of them
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

As depicted by the troublesome Two of Swords, the only thing standing between you and an awesome week ahead is a decision you’ve been putting off. And the only thing you can do to get rid of this anxious energy is to make the damn choice! If you have to, list out the pros and cons, ask your closest buds, sleep on it. But you won't feel better until you pick a plan and commit.

LEO: SIX OF WANDS

the tarot card the six of wands, showing a person on a horse holding a wooden staff with a wreath of leaves tied to it people holding five more staffs stand on the ground nearby
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

The Six of Wands supercharges all your endeavors this week, Leo, so make them count! Your time and energy is limited, so pick one or two things you reaaaally wanna focus on (and that have the highest potential for great rewards down the line), and let the universe do the rest!

VIRGO: PAGE OF WANDS

the tarot card the page of wands, showing a person in a yellow tunic holding a wooden staff
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

You’re SO not a fan of the trial and error approach, like, ever. You much prefer to plan and organize to the point of mapping out the exact route through any project or situation (and TBH, your entire life.) Well, things aren’t going to go that way this week. The Page of Wands is nudging you to lessen the pressure you put on yourself to always get ti right, accept you might have to adjust as you go, and stop overthinking it!

LIBRA: SEVEN OF WANDS

the seven of wands, showing a person in a green tunic and yellow leggings, holding a staff as if ready to fight six more staffs are raised up in front of them
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

You haaaaate conflict, but sometimes there’s no avoiding a head-to-head in life and you actually do need to stick to your guns. This week, you'll find the courage and resilience to stand your ground and not be overrun by those who want to trample all over you. Let the haters keep hating while you stay true to what you care about!

SCORPIO: SEVEN OF CUPS

the tarot card the seven of cups, showing a silhouette of a person looking at seven gold cups held up by clouds the cups are filled with different items, including a tiny person under a sheet, a snake, and a pile of jewels
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

Most people don’t realize what a vivid imagination you have, as you tend to project a highly reserved image to others. Deep down though, your active brain can conjure up all kinds of wild dreams and ideas about anything and everything. Your mind is running on overdrive this week, so just ensure you’re focusing this creativity on positive goals, vs. ruminating on past wounds. Direct your thoughts towards things you want to achieve and it will bring you endless opportunities and ideas (keep your notebook handy!)

SAGITTARIUS: FOUR OF CUPS

the tarot card the four of cups, showing a person sitting under a tree with three golden cups in front of them a disembodied hand holds out a fourth cup
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

You’re a live wire who needs constant action and adventure in your life, otherwise you get really bummed out, real fast. The Four of Cups hints that this has been happening recently, and you need to do some reconfiguring to feel inspired again. Look closely at your world– what excites you the most RN? THAT is where you should head this week. Start a new challenge, and you'll feel 100% more like your usual boisterous self again.

CAPRICORN: KNIGHT OF SWORDS

the tarot card the knight of swords, showing a knight in armor riding on a galloping horse and holding up their sword, as if going into battle
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

The Knight of Swords is walking with you this week and boosting your combative, ambitious, energy–it's the kind of vibe that gets you places you want to go, but have previously struggled to. Time to knock harder on doors you want to open. It’s not about bullying or being aggressive, obvi, but finding your assertiveness and overcoming obstacles you know are surmountable. Get it!

AQUARIUS: THE EMPRESS

the tarot card the empress, showing a feminine person in a long patterned dress and crown, sitting on a throne in the middle of a field
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen
The Empress shows that you'll feel extra warm and cozy towards those you love this week. Spend time with your faves, snuggle a cute dog (or 12) and get outside as much as you can! This week is all about remembering how GD great life can be, so get to it (esp after being so overworked all Virgo season long.)

PISCES: FIVE OF SWORDS

the tarot card the five of swords, showing a person carrying three swords with two more on the ground two more people can be seen in the distance in the background
Rider-Waite deck/Raydene Salinas Hansen

Sometimes you put up with crappy situations and people for too long because you’re so kind and compassionate. Pisces, take a deep breath and identify someone who's been a pain in the ass for basically ever, and who others have told you to walk away from. So yeah, this week, you need to draw that mess to a close. It just won't get better until you either confront the person or back away entirely.
