Gators in the NFL- Week Two

The Gators' 35 players on active NFL rosters is third-most across the entire FBS. 
GAINESVILLE, Fla.— 43 former Gators hit the field for 23 teams across the National Football League as week 2 of the season is near its conclusion.

Three Gators put together career-days to help lead their teams to victories.

Demarcus Robinson reeled in a career-high six targets for 172 yards and two touchdowns for the Kansas City Chiefs as they picked up their second win of the season over the Oakland Raiders.

Coming off his first career start last week, the Chicago Bears relied on Eddy Pineiro as the kicker was responsible for 10 of the team's 16 points, including a game-winning 53-yard try as time expired to give the Bears their first win on the year.  

Once again, Vernon Hargreaves III had a big game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, registering a career-high and team-high 12 defensive stops in the Bucs' 30-27 win on Thursday night in Carolina. 

At Florida, Robinson appeared in 32 career games, making 106 catches for 1,355 yards and nine touchdowns, while Pineiro holds the program record for highest-career field goal conversion rate, going 38-for-43 (88.37%) between the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Hargreaves III was a three-time All-American and picked off four passes in 37 games as a Gator from 2013-2015. 

Jonotthan Harrison, Marcus Maye and Brian Poole wrapped up the week as the New York Jets welcomed the Cleveland Browns in a primetime, Monday night game at MetLife Stadium.

Trey Burton – TE – 6th year- Made first appearance this season. Reeled in two catches for a gain of five yards.  
Eddy Pineiro – K – 2nd year- Went three-for-three on field goals and one-for-one on extra points. Knocked in the game-winning kick from 53-yards out, a new career-long.
Cincinnati Bengals (49ers 41, Bengals 17)
Carlos Dunlap – DE – 10th year- Made second straight start and made four total tackles.

Antonio Callaway – WR – 2nd year (Suspended)

Duke Dawson Jr. – DB – 2nd year- Did not make appearance.

Quincy Wilson – CB – 3rd year- Made an appearance in the defensive backfield for the second straight contest and made a tackle.

Taven Bryan – DT – 2nd year- Appeared in second consecutive game and made his first tackle on the year.
Lerentee McCray – LB – 7th year- Made first appearance of the year and tallied two tackles.   
Jawaan Taylor -OT- Rookie- Made his second career start at right tackle.

Kansas City Chiefs (Chiefs 28, Raiders 10)
Demarcus Robinson – WR – 4th year- Led his team with six receptions, 172 yards and two touchdowns (all career-highs).  
Joey Ivie- DT- 2nd year- Did not make appearance in game.

Los Angeles Chargers (Lions 13, Chargers 10)
Jaylen Watkins – DB – 5th year- Recorded a solo tackle in second straight game.  
Mike Pouncey – C – 9th year- Started at center for second straight week.

Los Angeles Rams (Rams 27, Saints 9)
Dante Fowler Jr. – DE – 5th year- Started at defensive end and registered five total tackles.

Alex Anzalone – LB – 3rd year- Appeared in game at linebacker. Tallied two solo stops.
