The Gators will host Towson in the Swamp on Saturday, Sept. 28 to cap the non-conference slate.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators will play host to Towson next Saturday, Sept. 28, as the matchup is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. kickoff to be televised on the SEC Network, the Southeastern conference announced on Monday.
The matchup serves as the first meeting between the Gators and the Tigers, who are slated No. 5 in the FCS national rankings, at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The game will also conclude the non-conference slate for Florida before returning to SEC play and finishing the three-game home stretch with Auburn on Oct. 4.
