Android 10 update resumes for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro
OnePlus commenced the 7 and 7 Pro Android 10 rollout about a month ago, but due to certain bugs, the deployment was paused soon after. If you own a OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7 Pro, you'll be happy to know that the handset maker has now resumed the rollout of the update, which also contains some bug fixes.

In addition, OnePlus included some improvements to the camera that should enhance photo quality, as well as some security and display tweaks. You can find below the full list of changes that you should expect in the new version of OxygenOS 10.0.1 based on Android 10:

System
  • Upgraded to Android 10
  • Brand new UI design
  • Enhanced location permissions for privacy
  • New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings
  • General bug fixes and improvements

Full Screen Gestures
  • Added inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back
  • Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps

Game Space
  • New Game Space feature now joins all your favorite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience

Smart display
  • Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings - Display - Ambient Display - Smart Display)

Message
  • Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages - Spam - Settings -Blocking settings)

Camera
  • Improved photo quality

Just like with every other update pushed out by OnePlus, this one will have a staged rollout, which means only a limited number of users will get it the day it's released. However, by the end of next week, all OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro owners should receive the Android 10 update if no major issues are reported in the meantime.
