The Detroit Lions only had a walkthrough practice on Wednesday, as they’re less than 48 hours removed from their “Monday Night Football” game against the Green Bay Packers. But given they have a short week to prepare for the Minnesota Vikings, they had to post an “estimated” injury report on Wednesday to share updates on the team’s health.
Defensive tackle Mike Daniels was out on Wednesday, continuing health worries for the pass rusher. Cornerback Amani Oruwariye did not practice either. However, the Lions did see the return of Quandre Diggs, who was limited and fighting through a hamstring injury suffered a few weeks ago.
For the Vikings local beat reporters noted that left tackle (and former Lion) Riley Reiff was not at Wednesday’s practice after leaving Sunday’s game with an ankle injury. The only other player missing from practice was linebacker Ben Gedeon, who is still under concussion protocol.
