10 Additions for Gator Soccer

Florida's incoming class brings experience from international, national and regional competition.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gator soccer signing class comes from the U.S.'s east and west coasts plus includes Florida's first player from Sweden. Florida Head Coach Becky Burleigh announced the 10 who inked with the team during the November signing period.
 
The class includes players with international experience, members of state club champion teams who also played at regional or national ECNL, U.S. Player Development or ODP events. 
 
"We'd like to welcome the 2020 class to Gainesville. We're really excited about this group. I think we not only have some terrific players in this group but also some really great people who are going to add to our culture." Burleigh said.

"Anna has had a lot of experience at a high level as a defender. She's a really good technical defender - an attacking defender which is exactly how we like to play so we feel like she is going to fit right in."

"Alexa is someone we feel has a ton of potential. She is really, really athletic and very, very good with her feet. We play with the goalkeeper's feet a good bit so for her to fit into our system will be pretty easy. She's also from TBU, a club we've had a lot of success with in the past in terms of former players."

"Tori Grambo is somebody who really can play any position on the field. For her club, when they need goals, she plays up front; when they need defense, she can go to the back. Really versatile player with a very high soccer IQ and very tough physically. I'm excited about her addition to our team."
