It looks like this Black Friday is the perfect time to pick up Apple’s 10.2in iPad, despite the fact it was only released at the end of September, with £50 off the £349 RRP at select UK retailers. It’s the cheapest we’ve seen the iPad since release and offers great value for money – as long as 32GB of storage is enough for your needs.

As the iPad is discounted at multiple retailers, it’s worth taking additional offers and extras from each retailer into consideration. Currys PC World, for example, offers a 50% discount code on an iPad Smart Cover case while John Lewis offers an extended two-year warranty free of charge.
It’s also worth noting that Apple currently offers a free subscription to Apple TV+ with the iPad 10.2in regardless of retailer, providing free access to Apple’s ever-expanding premium streaming library for a whole year.
We gave the iPad 10.2in (2019) four-and-a-half stars when we reviewed it in October, with reviewer Leif Johnson remarking that the entry-level iPad “gives potential newcomers to the Apple ecosystem little to complain about and much to fall in love with”.
