While some of us are gifted artists with the skill to achieve the perfect winged cat-eye in one stroke, others struggle multiple times before settling on some sad version of it. This stamp and eyeliner duo makes it so that you get that winged cat-eye in two simple steps. First, position the stamp (the tool contains one at either end, labeled "left" and "right" for the corresponding eye) so that the wing's longest edge connects with your lower lash line. Once you stamp both sides, you'll use the liquid liner to define your upper lash line.
Start right at the outer corner where the wing is placed and glide the pen to the inner corner in one stroke. The liquid glides on easily and applies just the right amount of product, there's no need to go back over the line a second time.
On my first try, it took me less than two minutes to stamp and line both eyes. The results were magical. Cat-eyes tend to be a look I've strayed away from because of the difficulty level, and now, it's something I can do whenever I want, thanks to this tiny little tool.
However, I do have one tiny complaint: The liquid liner does run a bit. While it claims to be a smudge-proof and waterproof formula, I found that just wasn't the case for my oily skin. I suggest using a primer before use and spraying a makeup setting spray, like the Urban Decay All Nighter, after to lock it in. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with the results.
