Josh Groban just snapped up an incredibly unique Los Feliz contemporary for $2.255 million, Variety reports. The singer’s new home sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and is built into a steep hillside, with stunning views of the Santa Monica Mountains below. Originally constructed during the 1970s by architect Tony Ngai, the home features a dizzying array of levels, with the main entrance opening into the middle floor.

Inside, the space is all about contrast, with multicolored cedar planks covering the vaulted ceilings, crisp white walls and pillars, and industrial-looking metal pipes acting as railings for the stairs and balconies. The lengthy formal dining room area is lined on two sides with oversized picture windows, and just off the navy blue-and-white kitchen, there's a small, cozy alcove with a cushioned window seat.

An open stairway leads down to two adjacent lounge areas, one with bookshelves built into a high floating wall, accessible via an industrial ladder. Large picture windows flood one room with light, while the other is tucked underneath the stairs, and features a lower cedar plant ceiling and a wood-burning fireplace. The home features two guest bedrooms and a master suite, as well as three and a half bathrooms. The master suite has even more high ceilings and built-in bookshelves, and yet another cozy reading nook tucked up against a glass window. It also boasts its own balcony with stunning canyon views, a large walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a deep soaking tub and separate steam shower.
