The creative union of Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucky in Love continues to pioneer the tennis-to-streets message with limited-edition capsule collection “A Night At The Opera”, ready to be launched just in time for the Australian Open.

Once again the nine-time doubles Grand Slam champion is translating her energetic personality into her on-court look, using asymmetrical cuts, vibrant prints and unpredictable colorblocking. Lucky in Love states that the Melbourne collection was predominantly inspired by the Sydney Opera House, Australia’s most famous architectural symbol.

Bethanie’s original tie-back tank, featuring dramatic slits on the back that let you tie it up or leave it open, is now represented in two new prints, so we have the Phantom Tie-Back Tank and Sunset Stroll Tie-Back Tank.

The tops pair back to two skirt styles: the below-shown Hi-Phantom Tier Skirt, featuring bold geometrics taken from the Sydney Opera House with neon coral crush accents, and the above-presented Hi-Sunset Pleated Skirt, which shows the sun setting over the architectural masterpiece when the hues of the coral crushed sky meet the reflection of the vast oceans that surround the continent.

All Bethanie’s skirts are constructed with Lucky in Love’s unique BMS (Body, Movement, and Smoothing) compression waistbands that sit slightly higher in the waist. To quote the WTA star who won mixed doubles Olympic gold in Rio de Janeiro 2016: “These skirts are the most comfortable skirts I’ve ever worn in my tennis career”.

The collection also incorporates the Phantom Moto Jacket, inspired by nightlife and city lights, a perfect performance streetwear combined with eclectic prints and ergonomic shapes. In this last photo you can see Bethanie wearing the jacket with the Long Mesh Skirt.

Starting January 20th, the collection will be available in all tennis stores across the USA.
