The trailer for HBO's documentary about a speech competition honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. dropped on Monday. We Are The Dream: The Kids Of The Martin Luther King Oratorical Festival dives into how the young competitors prepare for their performances.

The annual Martin Luther King Oratorical Festival brings hundreds of pre-K through 12th grade students together to perform published and original poetry and speeches. The documentary follows the young students as they prepare for the competition and show their passion for social justice issues like immigration reform and racial equality.

"They're profound, and they have a vision," one of the teachers featured in the documentary tells the camera.

We Are The Dream: The Kids Of The Martin Luther King Oratorical Festival premieres on Feb. 18, just in time for Black History Month.
