Funeral ceremonies will take place in Teplice and Prague on 3 February 2020 (31.01.2020)
The public will have the opportunity to pay last respects to the late President of the Senate, Mr Jaroslav Kubera, in the Ore Mountains Theatre in Teplice on Monday, 3 February 2020 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The highest constitutional officials, lawmakers, government members, representatives of the judiciary, clergy, diplomats, university rectors and other distinguished personalities will honour the memory of the late President of the Senate, Mr Jaroslav Kubera, in Prague in Rudolfinum on the same day from 4 to 5 p.m.
The North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Teplice will perform during the Reverence Ceremony in Rudlofinum. Mr Přemysl Sobotka, President Emeritus of the Senate and a long-time friend of the Kubera family, will deliver the only oration. The public will have the opportunity to follow the reverence ceremony in front of the Rudolfinum on a large-screen display or via the live broadcast by the Czech TV, Czech News Agency and Czech Radio.
