NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) has proposed to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) in the last week of May 2020. The NTA will announce the exact date only after the national lockdown gets over on April 14, 2020.
The JEE (Main) April 2020 examinations was scheduled to be held on the 5th, 7th to 9th and 11th April 2020, which is now postponed due to Covid-19 outbreak. The testing agency has now proposed to conduct these exams in the last week of May 2020.
The NTA, in its notice published on the official website, notified that as of now the examination is proposed to be held in the last week of May 2020.

The agency said the admit cards for the examination will now be issued after April 15 based on the situation at that time.
Earlier today, NTA extended the last date for submission of entrance test forms at seven major educational institutions.

NTA would keep students updated about the latest developments and would inform them about changes and exact dates of examination much in advance.
"The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in and www.nta.ac.in for latest updates. The candidates can also contact at 8287471852, 8178359845, 9650173668, 9599676953, 8882356803 for any further clarification," the notice said.
Students have also been advised to keep visiting the respective examination website and the NTA website regularly to check for updates
