Yeah, we know, the 6-feet-between-people rule means that neighborhood Twister tournament you’ve been waiting for all year ain’t happening. But here are seven other ways to kick back this COVID-cocooning weekend, from more appropriate board games to cool TV and indie movies and virtual happy hours.

1 WATCH: Fantastic Negrito unite the world in the most charming way

Oakland singer/songwriter/musician Fantastic Negrito is more than a humongous talent with an old-world R&B voice and a contemporary sensibility. He’s also one clever presence on social media. After asking friends and followers what they were doing to kill time while home-sheltering, he turned their responses into one of the most appealing videos you’ll ever see. Deets are here.

2 PLAY: Colonel Mustard with the rope!

Whether you’re sleuthing with Clue or settling Catan, board games are a classic way to play at home — and we’ve got six great new board game suggestions for you.

3 SIP: Virtual happy hours and wine-tastings

Just because you’re stuck at home doesn’t mean you can’t shmooze with a winemaker and fellow wine lovers, sipping that newly released sauv blanc. More than 20 NorCal wineries are hosting virtual tastings and wine parties online now. Here’s what you need to know.

4 WATCH: An online indie movie fest

Bay Area movie theaters are dark, but three — the Smith Center in Marin, and the Roxie and Alamo Drafthouse in San Francisco — are offering a rotating series of top-notch independent movies on their websites. Among the current offering is the wild Oscar-nominated Polish effort “Corpus Christi.” Here are the deets.

5 SEE: A play online (you have lots of choices)

It’s a tough time for theater fans. The Bay Area’s once-enviable stage scene is dark and for who knows how long? But theater folks are a creative lot and they are already finding lots of ways to get entertaining stuff — plays, readings and more — online. Here’s a sampling of what’s out there.

Baking is therapeutic – and delicious! Break out the flour and butter and try some of these treats, from Martha Stewart’s Easter Chick Cookies and Boston Cream Cakelets to mini Strawberry Pop Tarts and decadent Chocolate Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting. That ought to hold your sweet tooth for a while.
