COVID-19 does not careabout political affiliation
We remember Ms. Nancy Pelosi’s dramatic theater at the State of the Union speech on Feb. 4. What we do not remember is Mr. Donald Trump’s pledge, in that speech, to an effort to keep us safe from the coronavirus, now infecting much of the world.
His efforts were met with obstruction and accusations of racism.
The Mercury News and other legacy media provided no impetus to force both parties to work together. The scrutiny focused upon the current administration needs to be equally focused on the political opposition. Maintaining the current one-sided orientation endangers all of our country. COVID-19 does not recognize political affiliation.
