Can you solve our July 'Room with a Clue' puzzle?

A lifein colour

It was in 1883 that a prominent artistic figure first made this French country house their beloved home, adapting it over the following decadesto fulfil their great professional and familial needs. The housewas enlarged to accommodate a substantial family, and a barn next door converted into a studio, although this isn’t where our homeowner is known for creating their influential works. The bright interiors reveal a passion for colour, although it’s what lies through the window that really gives the game away as to who lived here.

The prize

If you think you know this month’s home you could be in with a chance of winning this Red Gingham Blooming Good Tea half-pint mug, worth £19.95, from queen of ceramics Emma Bridgewater. Based in the heart of the potteries in Stoke-on- Trent, Emma’s factory has been making your everyday cup of tea just that little bit more special since 1985.
