Look for these Big Ten football players to have breakout seasons

With so much uncertainty surrounding college football, it’s hard to put too much focus on what might happen when and if teams do take the field.

The Big Ten announced on Thursday that if they play, it will be only against conference foes. In the same breath, however, they admitted there is no guarantee there will even be a season.

But, for the moment, we’ll take the optimistic view and assume the Big Ten will be playing at some point, and when it does, there will be plenty of intriguing storylines. One that’s always worth watching is who might suddenly become a household name.

Some on this list are more known than others, but we took a stab at predicting the future and came up with this list of the top choice for a breakout season from each of the 14 conference teams.
