SAN BRUNO – A woman is in critical condition following a hit-and-run in San Bruno on Friday, police said.

The collision was reported on the 1100 block of El Camino Real near the Shops at Tanforan about 11:40 p.m., said San Bruno police Cpl. Scott Smithmatungol in a news release Monday. Officers arrived to find a woman lying in the roadway unconscious.

Smithmatungol said the woman was taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital with major injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver 2010 to 2014 Chevrolet Traverse with a broken driver side headlight. It was last seen traveling southbound on El Camino Real from Commodore Drive.
