Lions TE Isaac Nauta activated from Reserve/COVID-19 list

The Detroit Lions finally got some good news when it comes to the state of COVID-19 with their players. Tight end Isaac Nauta, who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday, has been removed from the list and is now active again. That means he can rejoin the team inside the facility for his physical. He will then join the team for conditioning and walkthroughs, which began on Monday.

Nauta returns after spending just four days on the reserve list. This likely means he either tested positive on Wednesday, and since then tested negative on two separate tests. That way, it’s been the required five days since the positive test.

The other possibility is that he never tested positive, but was placed on the list because he was in close contact with someone who tested positive. Since he returns after just five days, it must mean he was asymptomatic no matter which outcome happened.
