UP Board Compartment Exam 2020 application process to begin on Wednesday

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on Tuesday released the UP Board Exam 2020 compartment or improvement exam dates.
Students, who are waiting to apply for the high school or intermediate compartment/improvement examination, can now apply starting from tomorrow i.e., Wednesday, August 5, 2020. The last date to apply online through principal of respective schools, using official website upmsp.edu.in, is till 12 midnight on August 20, 2020.
High school students can apply for Compartment/Improvement examination by paying Rs 256.50/- as examination fee. Candidate needs to submit an application along with the photo copy of mark sheet with the concerned school principal.
Candidates should note that the he/she can appear only in one paper i.e., one subject in which he/she wants to improve his marks or any of the two subjects in which he/she got the compartment.
For Intermediate students the examination fee will be Rs 306/-. Candidates should note that they will be allowed to apply for one subject only. The Board has advised all school principals to collect the examination fee and application from the candidates by following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as issued by the state government.
Earlier, the he Board had proposed to introduce compartmental exams for Class 12 students as well. Candidates who have failed in two subjects would now be able to appear in one subject.
The UP board Class 10 and 12 results were announced on June 27, 2020.
