Update: As of Oct. 3, all of the evacuation orders in Tehama County and all but a few for Shasta County roads had been lifted.

The Zogg Fire, southwest of Redding, has forced evacuations of several communities in Shasta and Tehama counties.

The fire, which started north of Igo just before 3 p.m. on Sept. 27, is burning to the southwest, away from Redding.

The fire is just south of the scar of the Carr Fire, which burned 229,651 acres in July 2018 and killed eight people.

For updates, see Tehama County’s official evacuation map and follow the tweets of the Shasta County sheriff and Cal Fire’s Shasta-Trinity unit.
