The Apple Watch is the king of the smartwatch market, offering an unmatched experience both in terms of software and hardware. The catch is that it’s not a cheap smartwatch, with the entry-level Apple Watch Series 3 starting at £229 for the larger 42mm variant at the Apple Store – but that’s what makes this limited-time offer from eBay so tempting.

It’s the larger 42mm variant and comes with a either a Space Grey or Silver aluminium body and a black Sports Band, but as with all models of Apple Watch, the strap can be easily swapped out. It’s a refurbished model, rather than brand new, but the eBay listing claims that they’re in “very good condition” and include a magnetic charger and strap in the box.
It’s at this point we have to point out that it’s not an Apple refurb model, which often look brand-new, but instead a seller-refurbished model. That means there might slight cosmetic damage, but it’ll still work perfectly, and it’s protected by a 12-month warranty for extra peace of mind too.
The Apple Watch Series 3 is a great entry-point if you’ve never had an Apple Watch before. It provides the core watchOS experience, complete with fitness and sleep tracking, a wide range of apps to download and watchfaces to choose from without the high price of the Apple Watch Series 6.
You do get advanced features like fall detection, an ECG monitor and SpO2 monitoring, but unless you’re a dedicated fitness fan, it’s likely you won’t get much use out of them.
