All caught up on Netflix and Amazon Prime? Watched everything Disney+ and Hulu have to offer? Don't despair: Discovery is set to launch a new streaming service next month.

Discovery+ debuts on Jan. 4 with over 55,000 episodes of more than 2,500 shows from the programmer's portfolio. Starting at $4.99 per month, subscribers can access content from HGTV, Food Network, TLC, ID, OWN, Travel Channel, Animal Planet, and Discovery Channel. (You'll have to pony up an additional $2 each month for the ad-free version.)

"With Discovery+, we are seizing the global opportunity to be the world's definitive product for unscripted storytelling, providing households and mobile consumers a distinct, clear, and differentiated offering across valuable and enduring lifestyle, and real-life verticals," David Zaslav, president and CEO of Discovery, Inc., said in a statement. "We believe Discovery+ is the perfect complement to every streaming portfolio."

Hunker down for the winter with your favorite TV personalities: fixer uppers Chip and Joanna Gaines; cooks Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis; cake maker Duff Goldman; top chef Carla Hall; natural historian Sir David Attenborough; detective Joe Kenda; and handyman Mike Rowe. Sip a cup of hot chocolate while enjoying the dramatics of Sister Wives, Dr. Pimple Popper, and 90 Day Fiancé Diaries.

The possibilities are endless, especially when you factor in content partnerships with A&E, The History Channel, Lifetime, BBC Planet Earth, Science Channel, DIY Network, and The Dodo. Not to mention exclusive Discovery+ original programming like four fresh 90 Day Fiancé programs, more of the Long Island Medium, and star-studded episodes of Mary McCartney Serves it Up, House Hunters: Comedians on Couches Unfiltered, Route 66 with Kevin Hart, and more.

As an added perk, new and existing Verizon customers with a Play More or Get More Unlimited plan can enjoy 12 months of Discovery+ for free; those with Start or Do More Unlimited plans will receive six months of gratis streaming. Or, sign up for Verizon 5G Home Internet or Fios Gigabit Connection for a full year of non-fiction viewing.

"Connecting people to their passions is at the core of what we do," Ronan Dunne, CEO of Verizon Consumer Group, said in a statement. "And adding Discovery+ on us is a phenomenal way to serve customers who love lifestyle, home, food, true crime, and natural history content from one of the popular portfolios of video brands."
