Lauren Burnham isn’t fazed by rumors about her marriage to Arie Luyendyk Jr. Their relationship remains a topic of discussion ever since their publicized Bachelor engagement, despite the fact that they appear to be solid. Lauren’s pregnant with twins, and they share a daughter, Alessi. So she was quick to shut down breakup claims after receiving a request to comment from TMZ.

“We are hearing her and Arie have separated. Hoping that’s not true! But wanted to reach out for a statement just in case,” the email read. Lauren laughed off the request because she posted a screenshot of the message to her Instagram Story, writing, “i meannnnn if you count the 3 hours we separated for him to go dirt biking last weekend,” Lauren captioned the picture, “Yeah we’ve ‘separated.’”

I’m loving how Lauren was able to laugh off such a random rumor. Plus, I’m sure she has more important things to worry about like growing twins (!!). Lauren and Arie announced the exciting news in December 2020 via YouTube. They filmed their doctor’s visit, in which their ultrasound technician gave Lauren a six-week exam and revealed that she’s carrying two babies.

No way,” Arie said in the video. “We were literally googling the chances of twins and how rare it is in people that are younger and haven’t had any history.” Lauren added, “I can’t believe there’s two of them! I’m gonna do all the research.” The path to becoming pregnant again hasn’t been an easy one for them. They revealed in an emotional YouTube video in May 2020 that Lauren had experienced a miscarriage.

“A little over a month ago, we got the most exciting news and we found out that we were pregnant with our second baby. We made so many plans. We bought a new house with more space, we planned how we wanted to tell you all, and we envisioned our future with Alessi’s little brother/sister. We were planning to share our journey through pregnancy with you, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the happy story we had hoped for. We decided to share this part of our journey with you, because, well, we share everything with you! But also because we hope that by talking about this we can make other couples going through these times a little less lonely.”
