Watch While You Can: Everything Leaving Netflix in April 2024

Every month, Netflix renegotiates contracts and has to get rid of some of its programming. Here are the shows and movies that will be leaving in April 2024.

Netflix is always adjusting its streaming offerings, adding new content to draw in prospective subscribers. But to make room for the fresh stuff, some of the stuff you've always wanted to watch—and have had in your to-watch list for months—has to go off to a farm in the country, never to be seen again.

That's because Netflix doesn't own all the content it streams. The contracts it has with networks, production companies, and movie studios mean much of that programming comes and goes with startling regularity. So each month, we keep you up to date with a list of what's leaving the service, for Netflix veterans as well as those who are just signing up now. We'll highlight our top choices for what you should view in April before it's too late, and after that, we'll share the full list. Enjoy!

Imposters: Seasons 1-2 (Apr. 4)

This pitch black comedy series flew under the radar for two seasons before being canceled, but Imposters is worth your time. When three guys find out they've been scammed and robbed by the same woman, they set out on a journey of revenge. Unfortunately, that's never as easy as it sounds and our heroes have to compromise their morals to absurd ends in order to get what they want. It's chaotic, surprising, and quite funny.

Train To Busan (Apr. 22)

One of the best straight-up zombie movies of recent years, Train to Busan was a sleeper hit that brought more attention to Korean horror. Divorced workaholic Seok-woo is bringing his daughter to her mother's house for her birthday, but when an outbreak starts on the train it kicks off a series of high-octane set pieces that shock and surprise. This is a real loss, so watch it if you haven't seen it yet.

The Hateful Eight (Apr. 24)

I wouldn't say The Hateful Eight is one of Tarantino's best movies, but the story of a bounty hunter who finds himself trapped in a tavern in the middle of a blizzard has a lot to recommend in it, including fun performances from Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, and Walton Goggins. In addition to the theatrical cut, the extended version, which is re-edited into a four-episode miniseries, is also leaving Netflix on the 24th.
