The United Torah Judaism party on Wednesday urged its followers not to cooperate with police over what they say was "an intervention" of their traditions during the holiday of Purim.
"The United Torah Judaism faction takes seriously the decisions of the government and the coronavirus cabinet, which abuse the ultra-Orthodox public and ignore its needs," said the faction in a statement. "You [the followers] will consult with the senior rabbis on continued cooperation with the decisions of the government and the coronavirus cabinet."
