Twice, SuperM And Shinee: Watch These Titles On The World Albums Chart

Following
This article is more than 3 years old.

There may only be one new title present on this week’s World Albums chart in the U.S., but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other efforts worth highlighting as well!

Here are three titles to pay attention to on this week’s World Albums chart.

No. 7 - Shinee - Don’t Call Me

Already one of the biggest names in K-pop, Shinee return to the World Albums chart after nearly three years away while the band regrouped and found their way again. The act’s new album Don’t Call Me opens at No. 7, giving the outfit their twelfth appearance inside the top 10 on the list. Impressively, all of their releases have found their way into the highest space on the chart.

As Don’t Call Me hits No. 7 on the World Albums ranking, the set’s title track begins its time on the World Digital Song Sales list at No. 8.

Don’t Call Me is the only new effort to debut on this week’s World Albums chart.

No. 10 - SuperM - Super One

Former World Albums chart-topper Super One by SuperM lifts slightly on this week’s ranking, and in doing so, it re-enters the most important tier on the short list. The K-pop supergroup’s first full-length (and second project) steps up from No. 13 to No. 10, returning to the top 10 in its twenty-second frame on the roster.

Super One is one of only two titles on the 15-rung chart that advance at all this week while two others fall from where they ranked last time around.

No. 15 - Twice - Eyes Wide Open

This week appears to be a relatively quiet one for new releases that would qualify for the World Albums chart, which means this period is prime for popular projects to return. Just one set finds its way back to the list, and it narrowly breaks back on to the tally.

Twice’s Eyes Wide Open is back at No. 15 after falling off the World Albums chart not long ago. The title stalled in the runner-up rung when it first attracted attention, and it has now racked up 14 frames somewhere on the ladder.
